Ashley Leavitt, Vice President  & Events Co-Chair

A proud mom of three, Ashley has called Glenview home since 2022 and has been involved with FDG since 2024. As a local realtor, she enjoys helping others settle into the area she loves. Formerly involved with the Junior League of Chicago, she’s always had a heart for giving back and staying engaged. Whether she’s cheering on her kids, volunteering, or connecting with neighbors through her work, she values the relationships that make a community feel like home.

Linda Felter, Past President

Linda has been a member of FDG since 2020, joining shortly after her move to Glenview. She is passionate about supporting local businesses and building community ties. 2024 FDG Committee Chairs

Patti Tobin, Communications Chair

Patti is a long-time resident of Glenview with a background in marketing and communications. When the time came to consider moving her young family from the city, she was adamant that the new place would have be walkable to the train downtown for work, parks for play and restaurants for a bite and a beverage. After finding all those things in a neighborhood near downtown Glenview, she now volunteers with FDG to strengthen the heart of downtown by promoting all of its assets to current and future residents.

Eric Bohn, Membership Chair

As a third generation Glenview resident and real estate agent at Compass, Eric's personal and professional ties to the community run deep. Having grown up in town attending both OLPH and GBS (Class of '99), Eric contributes much of his spare time giving back to his hometown. In addition to his work with the Friends of Downtown Glenview, he also serves on the boards at both the Glenview Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis Club of Glenview-Northbrook in a very hands-on capacity. When not working or volunteering, you'll find Eric golfing, enjoying live music, or simply walking his dogs around the Henking Elementary/Crowley Park neighborhood where he resides. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

Sue has been with FDG since 2023.  She has resided in Glenview for 25 years and lives near the downtown with her husband and two children. She loves being a part of FDG and working with a dedicated group of like minded individuals to help create a more vibrant and attractive downtown that brings together residents and benefits businesses.  She also volunteers with the Red Cross.
