2024 FDG Committee Chairs

Patti Tobin, Communications Chair

Patti is a long-time resident of Glenview with a background in marketing and communications. When the time came to consider moving her young family from the city, she was adamant that the new place would have be walkable to the train downtown for work, parks for play and restaurants for a bite and a beverage. After finding all those things in a neighborhood near downtown Glenview, she now volunteers with FDG to strengthen the heart of downtown by promoting all of its assets to current and future residents.

Kay Laurie, Membership Chair

Kay is a 33-year Glenview resident. While raising her two sons, she volunteered on the St. David's Nursery School board, District 34 PTA, and served on the Glenview 4th of July committee for over 25 years. Kay joined FDG in 2022.

Ashley Leavitt, Events Co-Chair

A proud mom of three, Ashley has called Glenview home since 2022 and has been involved with FDG since 2024. As a local realtor, she enjoys helping others settle into the area she loves. Formerly involved with the Junior League of Chicago, she’s always had a heart for giving back and staying engaged. Whether she’s cheering on her kids, volunteering, or connecting with neighbors through her work, she values the relationships that make a community feel like home.
